After the demise of Sinking Ship Studio I was plucked out of the sea by 5 Crown Lane who offered me an artist in residence studio in their warehouse. 5 Crown Lane in the coolest place in Wollongong, it contains Music Farmers, a record label, a design studio, gallery space and occassionally runs as a venue. It is a medium sized warehouse smack bang in the middle of Wollongong with an awesome creative vibe and a real down to earth crew behind the helm. I have moved all my stuff into the studio, which I share with artist Bec O’Shea, and will be getting stuck into some big projects during May.
I had an exhibition ‘Touch That Space’ in this space last year with photographer Jodie Mathews. This picture is from that exhibition.
