So after sometime trying to combine my client based design and multimedia work with my personal visual art on this site I realised it was getting a bit difficult for people to know what it is I am doing as both styles are pretty different. So this current website is going to be for my design work and commercial projects to help me get freelance work while this BRAND NEW WEBSITE will be for my own personal visual art. I have been meaning to finish off the print run for ‘The House’ series for a while now but with no room for screen printing last year and then moving my studio 4 times during the past 12 months I never got a around to getting it done. As you know I am concentrating on my new 13 piece series ‘Fight or Flight’ while I have the residency at Wollongong City Gallery but i figured I would take a few days out and get some of these printed up in time for Christmas. For the 4th year running I have been selected as a finalist in the Australian Stencil Art Prize. This year the exhibition will be held at Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Camperdown, Sydney, from the 21 November to the 2 December 2012. Opening night is 21 November and kicks off at 6pm. Young Henry’s are sponsoring the event with beer and I’ll be playing DJ on the night spinning some records from my collection. Continue reading
As part of my residency at the Wollongong City Gallery I will be teaching a number of workshops in the medium of stencil art. The first couple of workshops aimed at high school students, years 7 – 10, started in August and in total I taught 40 students in 2 x 1 day courses. Continue reading
I recently done a Munny for the ‘For Love or Munny’ exhibition on at Terrarium Gallery.
I transformed the vinyl toy into Dickie The Drunken Sailor, a whisky guzzling sea lover who also enjoys peeing off the side of his boat into the ocean. I managed to rig a tube up into a crafted funnel that runs from his mouth to his…arrhhhh dickie. So when you give him some liquid he will pee it out. Continue reading

Wollongong City Gallery have asked me to be apart of the annual Local:Current exhibition. Each year the gallery picks 10 local, upcoming artists from the region, to join forces and create an exhibition that runs for 3 months.

As a finalist in the Australian Stencil Art Prize I will have my piece ‘Freedom In Ruins’ exhibited at Outpost Project 2011 on Cockatoo Island. Outpost Project is set to be the biggest street art festival ever held in the Southern hemisphere and around 80,000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition over 6 weeks. Continue reading

I have been selected as a finalist in the Australian Stencil Art Prize (ASAP) 2010 for my piece ‘Blue’. I was a finalist in last years exhibition and had a ball being apart of this amazing event, so I am super excited to be included in it again this year.
There are a bunch of amazing artists in the finals including the likes of E.L.K, Boo, 23rd Key and Rapmund.
The exhibition will be held at Oh Really Gallery, Enmore Rd Newtown from 11 – 21 November. The opening night will be 11 November.
